We also have the Day View of the schedule which is similar to the platoon view in the sense that only administrators in the system can create and edit how this view looks. However, this is only going to show a 24-hour time frame versus a whole month.

The schedule administrators in your system can create various templates for employees to choose from and modify permissions. So, you have the option to restrict a certain view to administrators, administrators & power users, or specific groups of employees.

For example, maybe you only want to make time off visible to your command staff, you can create that template and set those restrictions. You could also set it up so that employees can only see their own schedules, instead of the whole department.

Overall, this view allows you to be more specific about what you want to display, while focusing on one day at a time. All the scheduling information for the department (shifts, time off, overtime, etc.) will be displayed here, like the other views, unless of course when setting up the template you choose to not show some items.
