Open Shift Notifications

When initially posting an open shift, you can send an alert out to everyone or any employee group to let them know that you just posted some overtime. This can be done on the Calendar Editor as you are posting the shift or from the Open Shift Command Center.

When you approve or decline an open shift request, a notification will go out automatically to notify employees about your decision. There are settings in the system to allow each officer to choose which notifications they would like to receive. But administrators can also make certain notifications mandatory.
