Availability Feature Update

We are pleased to announce the addition of our updated Availability feature and a second option for our Availability Reporter. After high demand, we have used feedback from users like you to customize and streamline the Availability features to further meet your needs.

Updates to the Availability feature in the Calendar Editor:

You can now view your employees’ availability on the Calendar editor in real-time. When filling an open shift, click “Availability” to view all of the employees available for the selected shift.

Updates to the Availability feature in My Information:

Any user can log into My Information> Availability and input his or her monthly availability. Everyone can also add recurring availability if they know that they will always be available at certain times or days. When users mark themselves “Not Available”, it does not prevent you from scheduling them nor does it take them off the schedule. It is simply for your scheduling purposes.

Administrators also have the option to lock specific dates. Any date up to and including this date will have all modification attempts to availability blocked. You can use this setting to prevent employees from modifying availability after being assigned shifts and claiming they were never available to work. At minimum, the lock will always be set to yesterday unless you modify this setting.

The Additional Availability Reporter

This new screen will allow you to search dates, shifts, employees, groups of employees, and qualifications to create a customized availability report in seconds. Navigate to Scheduling> Availability Reporter to try it for yourself.
