The announcements feature in our police officer scheduling software allows you to share information with your department that will show right on the dashboard after they log in. You can set start dates and end dates for these messages and target them to certain people.

If it's an important message you can have it pop up automatically for employees when they first log-in. If you’d like to have an audit trail of those who have read the announcement you can require them to click and confirm that they have read the message.

So, for example, if you have a staff meeting on Friday just for your lieutenants and sergeants, you can set it up to just show for those individuals and have the message expire on Friday automatically after the meeting is over.
